These Terms govern your use of Forthquill, a content and collaboration workspace for social media managers and creative teams. Forthquill LLC (“Forthquill,” “we,” or “us”) operates the service. Read these Terms with our Privacy Policy.
1. The agreement
By creating an account or using Forthquill, you agree to these Terms. If you use it for a business or client, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization and will ensure your team and clients follow the terms that apply to them.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 and provide accurate account details. Keep your sign-in credentials secure and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity through your account and for maintaining access to the email address on it.
3. Workspaces and roles
An owner may create up to 10 workspaces under one account. Each workspace supports one owner, up to three teammates and one client reviewer, subject to the plan and in-app limits. Teammates can work on content. A client reviewer can view submitted material, leave feedback, request revisions and approve; the reviewer cannot create or edit workspace content. The owner manages invitations, permissions and client authorization.
4. Your content
You retain your rights to content you or your collaborators submit, including brand documents, writing samples, photos, posts, designs, comments and reports. You give Forthquill permission to host, copy, process, display and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure and support the features you use, including sending relevant content to an AI provider, Canva or a social network at your direction.
You are responsible for having the rights, licenses and permissions needed for your content and for its use by Forthquill, your collaborators, AI providers, Canva and any network you connect. Do not submit confidential or personal information unless you are authorized to do so.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Forthquill to break the law or another person’s rights, send spam, impersonate others, upload malware, bypass security or plan limits, access another workspace without permission, interfere with the service, or violate the terms or policies of a connected provider. You may not reverse engineer the service except where applicable law gives you a non-waivable right to do so.
6. AI features
AI is a workflow aid for drafting, adapting and analyzing content from human-provided source material, brand documents, voice and instructions. It is not a substitute for your judgment, and its output may be inaccurate, incomplete or similar to other material. You must review and edit output and decide whether it is appropriate before using or publishing it.
Forthquill does not generate artwork. Visual design remains in Canva and under your direction. You choose and edit designs, layouts, fonts, colors and photos. AI features may process the workspace context and reference screenshots you submit to the selected provider, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Studio users provide their own OpenAI or Anthropic API key and pay the provider directly for API use. A ChatGPT or Claude chat subscription does not cover API use. Agency and Scale include monthly Claude API usage subject to the allowance and limits below. Provider availability and policies may change.
7. Canva and connected networks
Canva and social network connections are optional and require your own account and authorization. Available networks, formats and actions depend on the current Forthquill release, third-party API access, account eligibility, permissions, and any required provider review. A network shown in product plans or the interface may not be available for every account or may require setup or approval first. Canva and each network are separate services with their own terms, policies, fees and availability. Canva may require an eligible paid plan for Autofill.
8. Publishing and scheduling
You are responsible for reviewing a post, its media, destination, caption, permissions, timing and any required disclosures before publication. A post is scheduled or published only after you take the relevant action in Forthquill. Manual reminders notify you to post yourself; they do not publish content. Automatic publishing, where supported and authorized, can fail or be delayed because of network, account, media, permission or service issues. Check the post’s status and the destination account after a scheduled attempt.
Previews are estimates and a network may display content differently, reject it or change its features. Forthquill does not guarantee publication, reach, engagement, leads, sales or any particular result. You remain responsible for published content.
9. Client review and approvals
Review links may be used without a client account. Anyone holding an active link can view and submit the actions allowed by that link. Keep links private and request a new review link when needed. A client’s approval applies to the version reviewed. If content changes after approval, the approval may be withdrawn and another review may be required according to the workspace’s approval settings. An approval is an internal workflow record, not legal, regulatory or professional advice.
10. Plans, payments and included AI usage
Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. The current prices are Studio $22 per month, Agency $39 per month and Scale $69 per month, plus applicable taxes. Your chosen plan renews automatically each month until you cancel. The price, billing frequency, renewal and plan details will be shown before you confirm payment.
To manage or cancel your subscription, use the Stripe billing portal and sign in with your billing email. If the portal cannot find your subscription, email [email protected] from your account email for help. Cancellation stops future renewals; you can continue using the paid plan through the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds or credits for a partial billing period, except where required by law. If a payment fails, Stripe may retry it and we may pause paid features until the balance is resolved.
We will give notice before a price change takes effect. You may cancel before the new price applies. Stripe processes payments under its own terms and privacy policy.
Agency includes monthly AI usage, and Scale includes the highest monthly AI usage allowance. The allowance is shared across the account owner’s workspaces and authorized teammates. The in-app meter shows a percentage used, including requests being processed or checked; it does not display provider charges. Usage resets at 00:00 UTC on the first day of each month and does not roll over. When the allowance is exhausted, included AI requests pause until reset. Forthquill does not automatically charge overage fees. We may use lighter Claude models for eligible lighter tasks. Studio includes no Forthquill-funded AI usage. Allowance details may change with advance notice.
11. Support
Support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis. Support access to a customer workspace requires owner approval, is temporary, read-only and logged, as described in the Privacy Policy. Priority support, if included in a plan, affects support handling but does not guarantee a particular resolution time.
12. Forthquill’s property
Forthquill and its software, branding and service materials belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is active and in line with these Terms. You may not use our branding without permission.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Forthquill at any time. To cancel a paid subscription, email [email protected] from your account email as described in the billing section. You retain paid access through the current billing period. You may also request deletion of your account and workspace; deletion is scheduled for the end of that period, as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or end access if reasonably needed to protect the service or users, respond to legal requirements, address a security risk, or enforce these Terms. Where practical, we will notify you and provide a chance to address the issue. After deletion, workspace content cannot be restored.
14. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, Forthquill is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service, uninterrupted third-party connections, or that AI output will be accurate or suitable for your purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.
15. Limit of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Forthquill and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill arising from your use of the service. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the fees you paid to Forthquill for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.
16. Your responsibility for claims
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for claims and costs arising from content you submit or publish, your use of connected services, or your violation of another person’s rights or these Terms. We will give you reasonable notice of a claim and allow you to participate in its defense. This section does not require you to indemnify us for our own unlawful conduct or for matters that cannot legally be shifted to you.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Orange County, Florida will hear disputes, subject to any non-waivable rights you have under local law.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service changes. We will update the date and provide notice of material changes through Forthquill or by email where appropriate. Changes apply prospectively; if you do not agree, stop using the service before the changes take effect.
19. General
If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue. These Terms and any written plan agreement form the agreement about Forthquill. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a business reorganization or sale. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver.
